I don't watch a lot of movies based on comic book characters, but I was absolutely stunned at how compelling and impressive Wonder Woman was —both the movie and the title character, played by Gal Gadot (one day, I'll pronounce her entire name correctly).
Mighty Aphrodite is an ironic take on the eternal push-pull of love and desire. Not every joke has aged well but there's still a lot of clever charm in the story. Mira Sorvino is phenomenal — she won an Oscar and Golden Globe for her performance.
Lore Olympus is a super popular webtoon that's now being adapted as a YA animated series.
